Country Club of Whispering Pines is the
location in the Sandhills for meetings and special events...it is
the perfect place for your next gathering!
Main Dining Room
Our elegant 5,400 square foot Main
Dining Room (MDR) provides the perfect venue
for all of your special events, with seating
for ~ 320 people depending on the room
set-up. The MDR is comprised of the East
Dining Room (EDR) (1,782 sq. ft), Dance
Floor (1,782 sq. ft) and the West Dining
Room (WDR)(1,890 sq. ft). The EDR has a
private bar and is ideal for projection
presentations. The WDR’s south wall is
entirely glass, providing ample natural
light and a scenic view of our Tranquility
Pond and the West Golf Course. The Features
include audio/visual capabilities, public
address system,
dance floor, stage and full bar service.
Thagard Grill
Thagard’s Grill offers a cozy
setting with seating for up to 70 people and
includes an 1,100 square foot terrace with
an exquisite view of Lake Thagard. This room
is perfect for family gatherings, business
meetings or small social gatherings. A
private bar and full food service is
available.
Board Room
Our stately Board Room seats up to
16 people around a 20’ conference table.
Ideal for presentations. Use the Card Room
(below) for your reception area.
Card Room
The Card Room can accommodate up to
24 people for dinner or 35-40 people for a
reception; separated from our Board Room by
frosted glass doors.
Outside Catering
CCWP offers full service catering.
We can assist with event planning for small
or large events, from box lunches to buffets
and large, seated dinners. CCWP provides
complete, professional service, as well as
the staff necessary to cater your event.
